Today’s lunch is homemade, hand breaded chicken nuggets with 1/4 of a watermelon 🍉 (lol I am aware of my watermelon problems we don’t need to point them out). Homemade nuggets and tenders are SO much easier than they are portrayed to be. You can ABSOLUTELY make these yourself 👏🏼
Recipe (&Ingredients):
1. Toast two slices of whole wheat bread. Allow to get well toasted.
2. Add toast to blender with 1 tsp Italian seasoning, 1 tsp garlic salt, 1 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp cumin and 1/2 tsp chili powder
3. BLEND 🌪
4. Add blended mixture (breadcrumbs) to a bowl
5. Crack 2 eggs into another bowl. Whisk eggs 🥚
6. Take chicken tenders or nuggets (about 1 Lb worth of meat). Dip chicken into egg, then dip into bread crumbs. Make sure the nugget is coated in breadcrumbs
7. Place into air fryer. Fry on 400 for 10-15 minutes (or put in oven on 400 for 12-15 minutes)
8. Let cool and enjoy! ☀️
